Formed in 2016 with the leadership of Thomas Millar, retired USAF officer and Realtor since 2004, The Lighthouse team embarked on a journey to provide Northern Virginia a clear beacon to successful and enjoyable real estate buying and selling.

Completing hundreds of real estate transactions over 20 years, we have the experience and the resources to meet the demanding needs of today's technologically savvy clients, and we employ cutting edge social media systems, processes, and tools to provide buyers with up-to-the-minute accuracy and sellers the broadest internet exposure possible.

Thomas Millar: Coming back to the VA area, we knew that the market would be challenging, so we asked a friend for a referral. She immediately suggested Tom, and we contacted him to go over our ideas. Since my wife and I work in opposite locations, Tom was outstanding in ensuring we understood traffic patterns that could affect our commute, as well as understanding the pros and cons of each neighborhood/community. After going back and forth for three months, we honed in on two homes which we thought would fit our needs perfectly. As far as the homes, one needed some updating, the other was move in ready.

Tom highlighted to me that while both homes seemed the same, and on the surface the move in ready one seemed perfect, based on his understanding of our family, pets, etc, the other home would be a better choice, even if it meant spending a little time updating it. He was absolutely correct...after the purchase we spent the following weeks getting our home up to specs, and we are absolutely in love with it.
